PROJECT MANAGER

REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Engineering, Marine Engineering, or Maritime Navigation. Training in Project Management will be considered an asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Languages: Advanced level of Spanish and English, both oral and written.

The selected candidate will become part of the Project Managers’ office and will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Participate in the definition of the project budget and ensure correct cost allocation.
- Establish a work plan, managing objectives, participants, timelines, and resources.
- Prepare the project with the client to facilitate their stay at the facilities where the project is executed.
- Organize the different actors within the project.
- Monitor and track the progress of the different phases of the project.
- Analyze project risks and report to the direct supervisor.
- Establish corrective measures and execute necessary decisions.
- Facilitate communication between the involved departments.
- Report periodically to the Head of the Projects Department / Production Manager.
- Provide transversal support to the departments involved in all phases of a project: commercial, workshops, billing, and administration.
- Support workshop management.
- Manage subcontractors participating in the project.
- Participate in production meetings, project coordination, works, and budgeting.
- Coordinate work with the relevant classification society and flag authority.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Define and prepare budgets. Monitor the budgets assigned to projects.
- Manage the project’s costs and revenues.
- Close the project: quality control, costs, and reports to finalize the project while meeting objectives.
- Conduct commercial activities before, during, and after the project.
- Manage after-sales service when applicable.
- Manage project warranties.
- Support the resolution of technical issues.
- Coordinate the preparation of technical reports.
